7.8Nox Ea10 Ventus Hybrid 12K Xtrem 2026
Nox · 2026
Planted, controlled volleys with no overshoot
Overhead and víbora demand a fuller swing than comparable hybrids

On paper this is a racket for advanced players who want a firm, precise response from a teardrop that does not pull the head down. Players who need help with power or a soft, forgiving feel should wait for hands-on reviews before buying.

Tactical right-side player who builds points and reads the game
Tactical right side player who is not afraid of using every trick in the book to "disturb the rhytm" of the opponent.
The Ventus Hybrid 12K Xtrem 2027 is the signature racket of Edu Alonso and the more versatile of the two Ventus models Nox makes with him. The other is the Ventus Attack, a head-heavy racket for players who finish points. The Hybrid keeps a teardrop shape and an even balance, so it sits between control and power.
Nox and its retailers describe a medium-hard feel and a weight of 360 to 375 grams. It is aimed at advanced players who want a firm, precise response without the head weight of a diamond. Retailer prices for the pre-order run from about 289 to 350 euros.
What the Brand Says
Nox says the 12K Xtreme carbon face makes the surface stiffer and spreads energy more evenly across the hitting area. The MLD Black EVA core uses several densities, which Nox says changes its response with the force of the shot. The brand claims the updated VCS anti-vibration system filters 60% more vibration peaks than its predecessor.
Weight Balance lets you add 2 g or 4 g counterweights, up to 8 g in total, to move the balance. The Dual Spin surface combines a 3D relief with silica sand, which Nox says helps spin while keeping control on contact.
Early coverage: Zona de Pádel published first impressions of the full Nox 2027 range, and Hotel Palas discussed the range in a catalogue video. These cover the whole collection, not a dedicated test of this racket.
How It Compares
On paper, the 2027 Hybrid keeps the formula of the 2026 EA10 Ventus Hybrid: teardrop shape, 12K Xtreme face and an adjustable balance. Retailers do not list a large change in shape or materials, so expect an update in details and cosmetics more than a new racket. Against the Ventus Attack 12K Xtrem 2027, the Hybrid should give up some power on the smash for a more even balance and an easier racket in defense.
