NOX Genius 12K Alum XTREM Lite by Agustín Tapia 2027
Nox · 2027
Soft HR3 White EVA core should be comfortable on impact
The softer core will likely give less exit speed on full smashes

On paper this is a quick, forgiving teardrop for advanced players who want to attack from the top of the face without the strict sweet spot of a diamond. Players who want maximum smash leverage or a pure control round shape should wait for hands-on tests before buying.

Left-handed right-side player with an attacking, finishing game
Always overperforms in the warm-up, always underperforms in the match. Such is life.
The Nox Genius 12K Alum Xtrem 2027 is the all-round teardrop in Agustín Tapia's 2027 signature line, the range Nox used to sell as the AT10. It sits between the softer Lite version and the more aggressive Attack models, and at around 390 euros it is priced at the top of the market.
Retailer Padelshop measured it at 360 to 375 grams with a low swingweight of 143 on its own scale, well below what it records for typical control rackets. The balance is not fixed: two small steel weights in the handle let you move it, so the stored balance is a starting point, not a single number.
What the Brand Says
Nox says the new 12K Alum Xtrem carbon face uses a weaving pattern that cuts fibre waviness by half compared with standard 12K carbon, which the brand claims gives a smoother, more even response across the face and steadier behaviour in cold and heat. The core is MLD Black EVA, a multi-layer rubber that Nox says stays forgiving on slow control shots and firms up when you hit hard. The Dual Spin surface adds a 3D texture for grip on the ball.
The Weight Balance system uses 2 g and 4 g stainless steel weights in the handle, swappable without tools up to 8 grams. More weight gives a heavier, more head-heavy feel. Padelshop's own measurement put the face on the soft side of its hardness scale, which fits the forgiving profile Nox describes.
Early coverage so far is overview content: a line walkthrough by RacketshopTV, a group test of five Genius 2027 rackets by Racketspecialisten, and a catalogue reveal by the4Set. None of these is a dedicated hands-on review of this exact model.
How It Compares
On paper, the 2026 AT10 Genius 12K Alum Xtrem already used the same face name and handle weight system, so the 2027 changes look like refinement rather than a new racket. Against its sibling, the Genius 12K Alum Xtrem Lite 2027, the standard model swaps the lighter HR3 White EVA core for MLD Black EVA, which should give a firmer response on full swings. Players who want more leverage on the smash should look at the Genius Attack models in the same line.
