Nox Ventus Control 12K by Aránzazu Osoro 2027

What to expect

On paper this is a precision racket for advanced players who build points from the back and want a forgiving round head. Expect comfort and a large sweet spot rather than free power on the smash. Hard hitters who want a stiff, explosive frame should look at the Ventus Attack instead.

The Nox Ventus Control 12K 2027 is the signature racket of Aránzazu Osoro, the Spanish professional who plays from the left side. It is the control model in the Ventus line: a round head, an even balance and a soft core, made for players who win points with placement and patience rather than with the smash.

The 2027 version goes on sale on 19 October 2026 at around 300 euros. Retailers list a weight range of 360 to 375 grams, so the exact weight of a single racket can vary by up to 15 grams. Nobody has played enough with it yet to judge it, so this page sets out what the specs and the brand say.

What the Brand Says

Nox and its retailers describe a round racket with a large sweet spot and a soft MLD Black EVA core. One retailer says the core widens the effective hitting zone, and that the 12K carbon faces add stiffness and a drier, more direct feel at impact. The surface uses a Dual Spin texture, and the profile is 38 mm.

The handle carries the VCS (Vibration Control System) elastomer. Nox claims it reduces vibration by 60% compared with its previous system. That is the brand's figure, not a measured result.

Early coverage: Zona de Pádel published a first impressions video of the full Nox 2027 collection, and Hotel Palas discussed the 2027 range from the catalogue. Neither is a dedicated hands-on review of this racket.

How It Compares

On paper the closest comparison is the 2026 VK10 Ventus Control 12K: the same round shape, soft feel and 12K face, so the main news for 2027 is the VCS handle and the cosmetics. Players who want more help on the smash in the same family should look at the Ventus Hybrid or Ventus Attack, which move the balance toward the head. A cheaper route to the same control idea is the ML10 Ventus Control 3K, with a softer 3K face.
