Nox Genius Attack 18K Alum Agustín Tapia 2027
Nox · 2027
Diamond shape and high balance point to strong smash potential
The head-heavy balance will likely tire the arm in long defensive rallies

On paper this is an all-round teardrop for advanced and professional players who generate their own pace and want precision. The 18K face and multilayer EVA core point to a firm, demanding feel, so improving players who want easy power and comfort should look at the 12K version first.

Tactical right-side player who builds points and reads the game
Tactical right side player who is not afraid of using every trick in the book to "disturb the rhytm" of the opponent.
The Nox Genius 18K Alum 2027 is the new signature racket of Agustín Tapia and the stiffer of the two main teardrops in Nox's Genius line, which replaces the AT10 name this season. It keeps the classic AT10 recipe: a teardrop head, an all-round brief and a target audience of advanced to professional players.
The headline is the 18K aluminized carbon face. In earlier AT10 generations the 18K version was the firmer, more precise sibling of the 12K, and reviewers called it a racket that asks for technique. Retailers list a weight of 360 to 375 grams; balance is adjustable, so the exact figure depends on how you set it up.
What the Brand Says
Nox describes four main technologies. The Weight Balance system lets the player move the balance towards the head or the handle. Dynamic Composite Structure carries the frame material into the face, which Nox says prevents cracks where frame and face meet and gives a more even feel across the hitting area. The Dual Spin surface combines a 3D texture with a sandblasted finish for more bite on the ball. Nox's patented Custom Grip, which the brand says is certified by Testea Padel, should improve hold and cut vibration.
Early coverage is limited. RacketshopTV published a first test of five Genius 2027 models, and pdhsports posted a short on-court first impression. Neither is a full review yet.
How It Compares
On paper, the closest comparison is the AT10 Genius 18K 2026. The face material, shape and audience stay the same; the 2027 model adds the Genius naming and lists the Weight Balance system and Dual Spin surface. Against the 2027 Genius 12K Alum Xtrem, the 18K face should feel firmer and more precise, while the 12K should be softer and give easier ball exit. Players who want more power from the same family can look at the Genius Attack 18K Alum.
