Nox Genius Attack 12K Alum Xtrem Agustín Tapia 2027
Nox · 2027
Diamond shape and high balance point to strong output overhead
Hard core will likely transfer vibration to the arm

On paper this is a racket for advanced attackers who take the net and want weight behind the smash. The high balance and the 30 mm longer handle should add swing speed overhead, but expect less help on defensive shots than the teardrop Genius 18K. Wait for hands-on reviews before buying if you mostly defend from the back.

Left-handed right-side player with an attacking, finishing game
Always overperforms in the warm-up, always underperforms in the match. Such is life.
The Nox Genius Attack 18K 2027 is the attacking member of Agustín Tapia's new Genius line. Nox gives it a diamond head and a high balance, the opposite choice to the teardrop Genius 18K, which aims at all-round play.
The brand lists it at 360 to 375 g with a medium feel, an 18K carbon face and an MLD Black EVA core. Some catalogue data lists the feel as hard, so treat the feel figure as uncertain until reviewers have played it. At around €390 it sits at the top of the Nox range.
What the Brand Says
Nox says the redesigned Genius mould and the EOS Tunnel improve airflow through the head, and that the new VCS system reduces vibration to the arm by 60% compared with the previous VCS generation. The Dual Spin face mixes a 3D texture with silica sand to add spin. The Oversize Grip makes the handle 30 mm longer, which Nox says leaves room for two-handed shots and moves the balance toward the head.
Early coverage is limited. RacketshopTV and RacketspecialistenTV each included the Attack 18K in a group test of five Genius 2027 rackets, and Zona de Pádel gave first impressions of the full Nox 2027 collection. None of these is a dedicated review of this model yet.
How It Compares
On paper, the Genius 18K 2027 is the same carbon and core in a teardrop shape, so it should be easier to control in defense and less explosive overhead. Last season's AT10 Genius Attack 18K 2026 used the same diamond, high-balance concept; the 2027 version adds the new mould, the updated VCS and the longer handle. These comparisons come from the specs, not from a test.
