7.6Tecnifibre Curva Soft 2026
Tecnifibre · 2026
Easy depth on lobs and resets
Limited pace on the smash

On paper this is a comfort-first teardrop: light, evenly balanced, with a soft foam core and a large sweet spot claimed by the brand. It points to beginners and intermediates who want easy handling and a forgiving feel. Players who want a lot of free power on the smash should look at the heavier L-Max instead.

Lacoste · 2026

Developing all-court player focused on consistency and comfort
Always gets an "A" for effort from the coach. That tells you enough about his technique.
The L-Soft 2026 is one of the two rackets in Lacoste's first padel collection, launched in September 2026. Lacoste did not build it alone: Tecnifibre, the racket-sports brand in the same group, engineered both models. The L-Soft is the lighter, more forgiving one, aimed at players who are new to padel or still improving.
The shape is a teardrop with an even balance and a weight around 345g. Inside is a soft foam core under a face that mixes carbon and fibreglass. At €250 it costs more than most rackets built for this level, so it has to earn the price on comfort and finish.
What the Brand Says
Lacoste describes the L-Soft as lighter and tailored for beginners or improving players, with easy handling and comfort as the goal. Three technologies carry the claims. Spin Skin 3D is a rough surface that the brand says grips the ball for more spin and control. X-Top is a reinforcement at the top of the frame for impact resistance. Retailers also list a progressive hole pattern, with smaller holes in the centre for precision and larger holes towards the edges for more tolerance on off-centre hits, and angled side edges from the throat to the upper frame to help swing speed.
Padel Addict's launch coverage repeats the brand's positioning: a racket for progressing players with a large sweet spot that responds well without asking for an advanced technique. That is a launch report, not a hands-on test. At the time of writing, no independent reviewer has published a hands-on test of this racket.
How It Compares
There is no previous model, so the only comparison is the sibling in the same collection. The L-Max 2026 is also a teardrop with an even balance, but it weighs around 360g, adds an 18K carbon build and X-Speed aerodynamic holes, and costs €350. On paper the L-Max is the choice for regular players who want more speed and power, and the L-Soft is the choice for anyone who puts comfort and easy handling first. This is a reading of the specs, not a test.
