7.4Bullpadel Elite W Gemma Triay 2025
Bullpadel · 2025
Quick to adapt to, confident from the first rally
Smooth face loses grip on spin shots
8.2Light and quick in the hand, the Elite 02 keeps rallies under control from the glass and at the net, and Gemma Triay says it is firmer on the smash than her previous Elite. It suits advanced all-court players who build points. Players who want the racket to finish for them should look at the Pearl or the Vertex 05 W.

All-court player who prizes control, feel and spin
Bowe is convinced that the racket, shoes, court are the problem, never his own abilities.
The Bullpadel Elite 02 2027 is Gemma Triay's racket for the new season and the successor to the Elite W. It stays a light hybrid with a medium balance, a Fibrix face (glass fibre mixed with carbon) and a MultiEVA core, so the basic character is familiar: a racket built to move easily between defence, building the point and attacking.
What changed is the structure. The Elite is one of three rackets in Bullpadel's 2027 Pro Line with a new mould, next to the Hack and the Xplo. The frame now uses the Total Channel design borrowed from the Hack, the heart (the open section above the grip) is new, the hitting face is larger, and the CustomWeight system appears for the first time, so you can add weight to change the balance. Gemma Triay herself describes the new version as harder than her previous racket. At around €265 to €295 it sits at the top of Bullpadel's women's line.
What the Reviewers Say
The Elite 02 2027 has only been out for a few weeks, so most coverage so far comes from the launch and from tests of the whole range, not from long single-racket reviews. The picture is still fairly consistent.
MoreEverythingPadel tested the full 2027 Pro Line and puts the Elite next to the Wonder as the control option in the women's range. Both are "well balanced between power and control", with the Elite a little more head-heavy. The channel also points out that the only thing that makes these women's models is the lower weight, so anyone who wants a lighter racket can play them.
At the launch event filmed by Dani 13, Bullpadel's head of design Pablo Ramaletti explained the brief: a large face that "forgives a positioning error" for players who move forward to attack. The reinforcements are there to stop the face from flexing on awkward balls close to the glass.
In the Hotel Palas video from the same evening, Ramaletti says Bullpadel avoided a round shape on purpose, because "precision should not be at odds with a bit of speed". He describes the Elite as a big, easy racket with some extra acceleration.
Gemma Triay is more concrete about the change in her talk with All Court Padel. The new racket is harder than the last one, and she feels she can hit the smash faster and more comfortably. The rough surface, she says, is not something that matters much in her game.
Where the sources differ is emphasis. The range test files the Elite under control, while Bullpadel and Triay stress the extra acceleration and the firmer smash. Read together, it is a control-leaning all-court racket that has taken a step towards attack. Full single-racket reviews, including one announced by Dani 13, are still to come.
How it plays..
The Elite 02 is a racket for players who place the ball and volley a lot, and the new mould makes the response firmer and quicker. That shift is welcome if you like clean feedback, although the Fibrix face still gives a softer, more cushioned touch than a full carbon racket. The 3D texture with fine lines should help on slice and víbora, but none of the sources has tested spin in depth yet. Control-minded all-court players should put it on their demo list; big hitters should look elsewhere.
Defense
In defence, the low weight and even balance do most of the work. Bullpadel designed the reinforcements to keep the face stable on difficult balls near the glass, and the larger face gives more margin when you are late or out of position. Triay says this version is harder, so expect a more direct response than on the Elite W 2025, which reviewers praised for very easy depth on the lob.
Attack
The Elite does not try to be a power racket. The medium balance and hybrid head keep it easy to swing, and Bullpadel went for acceleration rather than mass: your pace comes from swing speed, not from weight in the head. Triay says the firmer build lets her smash faster and more comfortably, so a good kick smash or víbora gets more reward than before. For flat, heavy smashes that end the point, the Pearl and the Vertex 05 W in the same line give more.
Netplay
The net is where the Elite should feel most at home. Triay plays a lot of half volleys and fast exchanges at the net, and the racket is built around that: quick to move, with channels in the frame that cut air resistance. The rough 3D Grain surface and even balance help you place the bandeja and víbora, and the larger face leaves more room for error on fast blocks.
Our Advice for New Players
Not a first racket. It is light and forgiving by Pro Line standards, but at around €295 you pay for pro-level details a beginner will not use. A cheaper, softer model is the better choice.
Our Advice for Intermediate Players
Strong intermediates with clean technique can play it well, thanks to the low weight and large face. If you still need the racket to add depth from the back, the Elite W 2025 or a softer, cheaper model is the easier choice.
Competitive level
This is the target group. Advanced all-court players, women and lighter men, who build points, volley a lot and want a racket that can speed up when they attack will get the most from it. The CustomWeight system also lets you raise the balance if you want a little more weight in the head.
