Padel Racket Review - Bullpadel Wonder 2027

What the reviewers say

The deep on-court testing so far covers the outgoing Wonder, which shares this build, and every tester lands in roughly the same place. This is the control racket of Bullpadel's women's line.

The Padel School ranked it top of the range for accuracy, calling it "probably the most precise of the women's range", and said the standout in testing was how exactly they could place the ball from the back of the court.

PADELREVIEW ENG framed the same quality around ball output: "It has a great ball exit, but the ball never flies away too much. You feel in control at all times." They were also enthusiastic about it at the net, where they found the volleys crisp and the frame stable in fast exchanges.

Manu Martín of Mejora Tu Padel tested all five Bullpadel women's rackets back to back and picked the Wonder as his favourite, describing it as the firmest of the five and the one that gave him the most control and the cleanest sense of hitting straight through the ball. He was equally clear about where it drops off: "I like it more from the back than at the net. At the net it is fine, but it obviously does not help you as much." That is the one real disagreement in the coverage, and it comes down to the comparison. Against the heavier, head heavier Elite and Flow, the Wonder gives you less free depth on the volley.

On the 2027 update itself, Dani 13 went through the new catalogue and was blunt: "Fibrix and MultiEVA again. It looks lovely, but with this one I feel we have more of a cosmetic change than anything else." He added that within the women's line the Wonder was always one of the easiest to handle and at the same time the springiest, so it does help you more than a Vertex Woman.

Claudia Fernández was asked at the 2027 launch to describe it in three words and said "control, more power, and beautiful". The middle word is worth noting, though she is comparing it to her own previous racket, not to a diamond.

Our take: Lars's summary

Everything in the evidence says this is a racket for building points rather than ending them early. It repositions fast, it holds its line on blocks and low volleys, and the rough face bites properly on chiquitas and slice. The trade-off is the firm feel, which rewards clean contact and gives very little back when you catch the ball late or off centre. Players who want the frame to cover for them are better served by the softer comfort models in the same line.

Light and quick, which is what saves you in the corners. Testers found it easy to get into position and easy to reset a ball off the back glass, and the MultiEVA core absorbs pace well enough that a fast ball does not spring off the face. The lob is where the weight shows. At around 355 grams with an even balance there is not much mass to push a defensive lob deep, so that depth has to come from your legs and your swing.

This is not built to finish points. Testers described clean, accurate overheads rather than heavy ones, and the ratings follow, with control and manoeuvrability running well ahead of power. The bandeja and the víbora are the shots that work, because both reward timing and spin over raw speed, and the 3D Grain surface grips the ball for it. If you want the smash to end the rally on contact, a diamond like the Pearl is the right tool. The Wonder gives you an overhead you can put exactly where you want instead.

Reviewers split here, and both readings hold up. Volleys come off crisp, the frame stays stable against pace, and the low balance lets you get the face onto a quick ball without a big move. Free depth is the thing you give up. Against the head heavier rackets in the same range, the Wonder asks you to punch through the ball yourself, which suits players who volley to a spot rather than volley to hurt.

How it compares

The Bullpadel Pearl 2027 is the opposite choice from the same shelf. It is a diamond built around Bea González's attack, so it finishes the points the Wonder only sets up, and it gives away control and sweet spot to do it. Take the Pearl if you close at the net and finish overhead. Take the Wonder if your points are won two or three shots earlier.

The Bullpadel Elite W 2026 Gemma Triay is the softer middle ground, with the same hybrid shape and Fibrix build but more forgiveness and more help on the ball. If the Wonder's firm face sounds like hard work, the Elite does most of the same jobs and asks less of your timing.
