Bullpadel Elite W Gemma Triay 20257.4

Conclusion

The Elite W 2025 feels familiar within minutes, sends lobs deep with little effort and keeps volleys safe. It suits intermediate players on either side who want comfort and control. Players who miss the firmer 2024 carbon version, or who rely on heavy spin, should look elsewhere: the smooth Fibrix face lets the ball slip.

The Elite W is Gemma Triay's signature racket in Bullpadel's women's Pro Line. For 2025, Bullpadel made one change that shapes almost everything about it: the faces go back to Fibrix, its blend of glass fibre and carbon, after the 2024 model used 3K carbon. The rest stays familiar. It is a light hybrid of around 350 to 360 grams with a medium balance, a smooth face and a MultiEva core.

That material switch makes it softer at the start of the stroke and easier for most club players than last year's version, but also less distinctive at the top level. The list price is close to €300, and retailers have often discounted it to about €180.

What the Reviewers Say

What the reviewers say

All three reviewers describe the same character: light, easy to handle and built for control. They split on power, and on whether the move to Fibrix was a good idea.

xTRES Padel played it first in a test of the full 2025 Bullpadel collection and liked it most in defence: "It has cost me very little to adapt. It is a racket that gives you confidence." On the volley he found it a little soft and hard to accelerate, though he valued the control.

In its Spanish test, Padel Chiquito came to a similar verdict. The feel is softer than they like, but the volley is where the racket scores best, with high manoeuvrability, a good sweet spot and a lot of control. On the bandeja and off the wall they wanted more power.

Padel Review was the most critical, mainly about the material change: "Last year's model had more soul and was more powerful at high levels." Even so, they found it surprisingly powerful for intermediate players and praised its deep, comfortable lobs. Their complaints were vibration on blocks, a frame that twists slightly in fast volley exchanges, and a smooth face where the ball slips on spin shots.

The consensus is a safe, comfortable all-court racket. How much power you feel depends on your level: intermediates get depth for free, while stronger players miss the bite of the 2024 carbon.

How it plays..

Our take: Bowe's summary

The Elite W 2025 is easy to place, especially on lobs and resets. The surface is the trade-off to take seriously. Smooth Fibrix does not hold the ball for long, so víboras and cut lobs with heavy spin come out flatter than they would off a textured carbon face. Players who build points through placement will adapt quickly; anyone who relies on spin should try it before buying.

Defense

Defence is its strongest area. Every source liked it from the back. Lobs rise easily and land deep, the low weight helps on fast reactions, and xTRES rated it among the safest rackets of the collection when defending.

Attack

Power is moderate and depends on who swings it. Padel Review found that intermediate players can clear the court on the smash with little effort. Padel Chiquito and xTRES, on the other hand, wanted more punch on the bandeja and faster shots. On the víbora the ball slides across the smooth face, so the shot needs clean technique.

Netplay

At the net it is quick and controlled, with a forgiving sweet spot. Stability is the weak point. In hard, fast exchanges the frame twists slightly and blocks can vibrate, which Padel Review noted on both the 2024 and 2025 versions.

Our Advice for New Players

Advanced beginners moving to their first serious racket will find it comfortable and forgiving. At full price it is a lot of money for that stage; at a discount it is a reasonable step up.

Our Advice for Intermediate Players

Intermediate and high-intermediate players are the core audience. Women or lighter men, on either side, get easy depth, a light frame and plenty of control.

Competitive level

Advanced players who want a crisp control racket that grips the ball for spin will probably prefer the 2024 carbon Elite or a racket with a textured face. Heavy hitters looking for finishing power should look elsewhere.

How It Compares

How it compares

  • Bullpadel Elite Woman 2024: 3K carbon faces, with a firmer and more distinctive feel. Reviewers who know both prefer it for advanced play, and it is often cheaper now.
  • Bullpadel Vertex 04 Woman 2025: Delfi Brea's racket, with a rough surface and more weight in the head. Pick it for more attack and more grip on spin; the Elite W is the easier, more defensive frame.
  • Bullpadel Flow Woman 25: Ale Salazar's racket, light and soft. The Elite W gives a little more punch on the smash.
