8.8Bullpadel Vertex W 05 2026 Delfi Brea
Bullpadel · 2026
Exceptional balance of power and control
Premium price point may be prohibitive for recreational players
8.2Quick at the net and grippy on víboras, it attacks well for its low weight. Buy it if you want one light racket for both defence and finishing and your contact is clean. Skip it if you need a big, forgiving sweet spot or already own the 2026 version, because only the paint has changed.

All-court player who prizes control, feel and spin
Bowe is convinced that the racket, shoes, court are the problem, never his own abilities.
The Vertex 05 W 2027 is Delfi Brea's racket and the all-round option in Bullpadel's women's line. It is a light diamond with a Fibrix face, a blend of glass fibre and carbon, over a MultiEVA core, finished with Bullpadel's gritty Top Spin surface. In the range it sits between the head-heavy Pearl, built to finish, and the Wonder, built for precision.
For 2027 the story is mostly what stayed the same. Bullpadel gave new moulds to the Hack, the X-PLO and the Elite this season, and the Vertex W was not one of them. Face, core, weight and balance all carry over from the Vertex 05 W 2026, and the visible change is a new coral finish. The bigger step came a season earlier, when the 05 replaced the Vertex 04 W with a stiffer, more attacking frame. At around €295 it is a premium purchase, and if you already play the 2026 model there is no performance reason to switch.
What the Reviewers Say
Most hands-on testing so far was done on the 2026 edition, which shares this racket's construction, so the sources below cover both years.
The 2027 coverage agrees that the Vertex W is still an attacker's racket in a lighter package. MoreEverythingPadel went through the full 2027 range and noted that the Fibrix face makes it slightly softer and the lower weight gives a faster swing, but called it “still an attacking racket overall”. The channel also made the point that only the weight makes it a women's racket, so anyone who wants a lighter diamond can use it.
Dani 13 went through Bullpadel's 2027 catalogue before launch and saw no change in the Vertex line beyond the looks. He described the Woman as the lighter sibling of this year's Vertex Comfort, with the same Fibrix and MultiEVA setup, and “a slightly more manageable racket”.
The attacking lean is deliberate. At the 2027 presentation, filmed by Dani 13, Delfi Brea said she always chose rackets for handling and control, until Bullpadel pushed her towards “a more aggressive version, with a bit more output, a bit harder, that works for both things”. She admitted it took time to adapt.
The hands-on tests of the 2026 edition back that up. PADELREVIEW ENG found it stiffer and more solid than their favourite, the 2024 Vertex 04 W: better overhead and easy on lobs, but less forgiving off centre. Their verdict on the net game: “At the net, this racket shows its best side: quick, stable and highly responsive.” The Padel School tested it alongside the rest of the women's lineup and “could definitely feel the combination of control and power”, calling it a racket for the all-rounder.
The one real disagreement is about power. PADELREVIEW ENG ranks it the most offensive Vertex Woman so far, while The Padel School groups it with the Elite as an all-rounder, behind the Pearl and the Flow for pure power. Both hold up: it attacks well for a light racket, but it does not hit as heavy as Bullpadel's head-heavy models.
How it plays..
The Vertex 05 W plays as a precise diamond more than a heavy hitter. The low weight keeps it fast at the net, and the gritty face adds real bite to sliced volleys and víboras, which suits players who place the ball and work it with spin. The trade-off is the sweet spot: it is firmer and less forgiving than on the old Vertex 04 W, so off-centre contact costs depth. If you own the 2026 edition, keep it.
Defense
Better than most diamonds. Lobs are one of its strengths: PADELREVIEW ENG found them easy to lift and consistent, and the low weight makes long rallies from the back less tiring. The firmer face is less kind on late, off-centre blocks near the glass, so defensive resets need clean contact rather than a racket that bails you out.
Attack
It finishes well for its weight. Víboras and bandejas come off with bite and control, which lets you keep the pressure on down the diagonal. Flat smashes are a different matter: there is less mass in the head than in the Pearl, so the extra pace has to come from your swing.
Netplay
Its best zone. Reviewers describe the volleys as quick, stable and responsive, and the stiffer bridge that arrived with the 05 sends them out faster than on the older model. The rough surface helps on sliced and angled volleys, and the low weight makes fast exchanges easier to survive.
Our Advice for New Players
Not a good first racket. The diamond shape and a sweet spot that punishes mishits will slow your progress, and €295 is a lot to spend while your technique is still settling. A round, softer racket is the better start.
Our Advice for Intermediate Players
Possible, with conditions. A strong intermediate with consistent contact who wants a light racket that still attacks can grow into it. If you still miss the centre often, a round racket with a softer core will be kinder to your game.
Competitive level
The main audience. Advanced players who defend with lobs, take the net early and finish with víboras will get the most out of it. That includes men who prefer a lighter racket: the W only means a lower weight.
