Nox Pro Cup Soft by Agustín Tapia 2027

What to expect

On paper this is a comfortable, forgiving teardrop for players who want help from the racket without a stiff feel. The soft EVA core and fibreglass faces point to easy output on slow balls, but expect less bite on flat smashes than the Hard version. Nobody has published a full test of the 2027 model yet.

The Pro Cup Soft 2027 is the softer of two Pro Cup models Nox released with Agustín Tapia's name for the 2027 season. The Pro Cup has been Nox's mid-priced line for years: a proven mould at a price well under the AT10 flagship.

The Soft version pairs a teardrop head with a soft EVA core and fibreglass faces, at a listed weight of 360 to 375g. That combination points to a racket for players who want comfort and easy depth more than a dry, explosive smash. Retailers list it at around 200 euros.

What the Brand Says

Nox says the HR3 Soft EVA core gives a balance of ball output, comfort and control, and that it is more forgiving than the Pro Cup Hard. According to Nox, the fibreglass faces keep the soft feel while the carbon frame adds rigidity. The brand also lists Exclusive Spin, a sectioned 3D relief with silica sand that it says helps you put spin on the ball, the Pulse System to reduce vibration, and the EOS Flap, which Nox says makes the racket easier to move during a point.

Early coverage so far is limited to collection previews. Zona de Pádel and Dani 13 showed the 2027 Nox range in launch videos, but neither is a dedicated hands-on test of this model.

How It Compares

On paper, the Pro Cup Hard 2027 uses the same teardrop mould with a firmer core, so it should give more control and punch for players with a fast swing, at the cost of comfort. Against last year's AT10 Pro Cup Soft 2026, the recipe looks very similar: soft EVA, fibreglass faces and a teardrop head in the same weight range. Players who liked the 2026 model should find the 2027 version familiar. This is a reading of the specs, not a test.
