Bullpadel Vertex 05 W Cloud 2026

What to expect

On paper this is the Vertex 05 W for players who want the diamond shape without the firm, jarring hit. The Cloud EVA core and glass Elastic Fiber face point to a soft, cushioned feel and easy ball exit, at the cost of some crispness on flat smashes. Players with elbow or shoulder trouble should look here first; hard hitters who want a firm response should stay with the standard W.

The Vertex 05 W Cloud is the comfort version of Delfi Brea's 2026 racket. Bullpadel keeps the diamond head and the rough face of the regular Vertex 05 W, then swaps the MultiEva core and Fibrix face for Cloud EVA inside and Elastic Fiber outside. That makes it the softest racket in the women's Vertex family.

It sits around 350–360g, with a medium balance that Bullpadel and retailers put near 25.4 cm, lower than the high balance of the standard W. One retailer lists it at 360–370g, so check the weight on the racket you buy. Expect to pay about €160 on sale and around €224 at full price.

What the Brand Says

Bullpadel describes Cloud EVA as an ultra-soft, low-density core meant to absorb impact and add rebound. It calls Elastic Fiber a very flexible face made from low-modulus glass filaments, which deforms more on contact and, according to the brand, gives a cushioned feel and a larger sweet spot. The frame is CarbonTube, which Bullpadel says is 100% carbon in a bidirectional weave.

The new part for 2026 is the heart of the racket. Bullpadel says the double diagonal bridge with a more triangular geometry spreads force better along the frame and makes the racket more stable. The brand pitches the Cloud version at players who want comfort and fewer injury worries without giving up the Vertex's attacking shape.

How It Compares

The closest reference is the standard Vertex 05 W 2026. On paper both are 38 mm diamond rackets at 350–360g with a 530 cm² face. The standard W uses a MultiEva core, a Fibrix face of glass and carbon, and a high balance, so it should feel firmer and more head-heavy. The Cloud trades that firmness for a softer core, a glass-only face and a lower balance. Players who want more punch on smashes and a direct response should look at the standard W; players who value comfort and a softer exit should look at the Cloud. This is a comparison of specs, not of play.
