Bullpadel Hack 04 Hybrid Cloud 20267.7

Conclusion

At the net it feels calm and comfortable, and the soft face gives easy depth on short swings. Right for intermediate and advanced control players who want the Hack mould with less strain on the arm. Not for players who finish overhead, because a full swing on a flat smash gets absorbed rather than returned.

The Bullpadel Hack 04 Hybrid Cloud 2026 is the comfort version of the Hack 04 Hybrid, the control-leaning model in Paquito Navarro's Hack line. It keeps the Hybrid's teardrop-leaning mould, carbon tube frame and medium balance, but changes what sits inside. The standard Hybrid puts a firm 18K carbon face over a MultiEVA core. The Cloud uses a fiberglass face over a very soft, low-density foam. The result is a softer racket that lets the ball go more easily on short swings and sends less vibration into the arm. It weighs around 370 g and sells for roughly €175–€270, usually below the carbon Hybrid in shops.

What the Reviewers Say

What the reviewers say

The reviewers agree on the main point: this is the Hack for players who put comfort first. Fun Padel Shop found it "noticeably easier to play with" than other Hacks, with a softer impact and power that is easier to control than explosive. Racketlife, a Danish shop channel, weighed its test racket at 366 g and called it a racket made "primarily for the control player", aimed at people who like the normal Hack Hybrid but want something kinder on the arm.

Peter Consuegra is the most critical. He liked it at the net: volleys felt pleasant, and he could push a sliced volley deep. The bandeja and the rulo also went deep without much effort. In defence, though, the muffled feel cost him confidence: "I don't feel the ball as much, so it doesn't give me as much confidence." His víbora also flew long when he did not put enough spin on the ball, and he rated the smash as average. It has enough to put a ball out over the side wall (por tres) with good technique, but it is not a racket for winning on raw power. Padelful's written review lands in a similar place: a control-first hybrid with a very soft landing at impact. Where it differs from Consuegra is defence, which Padelful counts as a strength. It also notes the racket is not the sharpest option for flat smashes, and that the price is steep if forgiveness is all you want.

How it plays..

Our take: Christoph's summary

The Cloud makes the Hack Hybrid gentler and makes depth easier to find, and the reviewers who liked it most were looking for exactly that. The trade-off shows up when you go for the finish. A full, committed swing on a flat smash sinks into the soft face instead of coming back hard, so players who close points overhead or with a firm forehand volley will get more from the carbon Hybrid or the standard Hack 04. For comfort-first players who build points and still want the Hack mould, it is a sensible choice.

Defense

The softness helps in defence, but it costs something too. The soft face sends lobs and balls off the back glass deep without much effort, and Padelful rates it as helpful here. Peter Consuegra, on the other hand, missed the ball feel he needs for soft defensive shots. Expect easy depth, but less feedback on delicate touches.

Attack

The power is there, but it arrives softly. Fun Padel Shop describes it as controllable rather than explosive. Peter Consuegra found enough pace to hit a ball out over the side wall with good technique, but does not see it as a racket for winning on force alone. Take care with the víbora: if you swing through without enough spin, it can fly long.

Netplay

The net is where this racket is at its best. Volleys feel comfortable and stable, and a sliced volley goes deep without forcing it. The bandeja and the rulo travel deep with little extra effort. The medium balance keeps the racket easy to move in fast exchanges.

Our Advice for New Players

Not the first choice. It is forgiving and kind on the arm, but at this price a beginner gets more from a cheaper soft round racket. Beginners who are moving quickly towards intermediate level can play with it without trouble.

Our Advice for Intermediate Players

The best fit. Intermediate and high-intermediate players who want a Hack without the stiffness get easy depth, comfortable volleys and a forgiving response. A good pick if you play several times a week and want to protect your arm or elbow.

Competitive level

Advanced control players, and players moving from a defensive racket to a more attacking one who still want comfort, will be at home with it. Advanced attackers who finish points overhead should look at the standard Hack 04 Hybrid or the Hack 04 instead.

How It Compares

How it compares

  • Bullpadel Hack 04 Hybrid 2026: same mould and balance, but an 18K carbon face over a MultiEVA core. Faster and firmer, with more control at pace and a higher smash ceiling, but it gives almost no free depth at slow pace. Pick the carbon Hybrid if you generate your own speed. Pick the Cloud if you want the ball to come off easier and your arm to take less.
  • Bullpadel Hack 04 2026: Paquito's head-heavy diamond, built for power. Much more smash, much less forgiveness. Only for advanced attackers who already hit the middle of the face.
