Everyone who has hit with it lands on the same character: fast, controlled and stingy with free power. Where they split is on forgiveness. Tennis Overload goes further and argues the attacking side gets easier too: "Power feels easier to access. Instead of requiring perfect timing and maximum racket-head speed, the Hybrid produces strong offensive shots with greater consistency." The Hybrid is the sane Hack. It moves quickly, holds its shape in a hands battle, and keeps a usable contact area that the diamond simply does not have. The catch sits at slow and medium pace, where the MultiEVA core returns almost nothing: depth has to come out of the swing every single time. That makes it a good racket to grow into and a frustrating one to learn on, so the technique needs to be there before the price tag makes sense.

Defense is better than the Hack name suggests. The lower balance means the racket is already set when a ball comes off the glass, and blocks come back clean as long as the face is angled early. Reviewers agree the wall exit is quick and that long rallies cost the arm less than on the diamond. The limit is depth. On a slow, low ball the core needs a long push to send it back deep, and a lazy reset lands short in midcourt. Defensive lobs work, but they are placed, not lifted for you.

It finishes, it just does not do the finishing for you. On a prepared overhead from the upper central area it puts real weight behind the ball, and the 2026 face is livelier than earlier Hacks, so the racket accelerates fast once the arm commits. What it gives up is the top end: side by side with the standard Hack 04 the smash comes off slower. It also asks for a downward gesture. The medium balance keeps the head from dropping on its own, so a flat, unfinished swing sends the ball floating long.

The net is the best part of this racket. Volleys are quick, stable against pace and easy to redirect, and the tip rarely gets left behind in a fast exchange, which is exactly what the lower balance was for.
