Three steps for effective attacking strategy at the net.
What Your Guru Thinks
This covers a really important concept about when and how to attack effectively. The coach Dani gives a clear three-step approach, starting with consistency before building the point and looking for the right opportunity to finish. Many players try to hit winners too early, and this explains why patience and pressure are usually more effective. It helps you think strategically about your net play.

Attacking in padel is about controlling the net and making smart decisions. Understanding these three steps will help you dominate the game:
π₯ Step 1 β Be Consistent at the Net β The key is not to miss. Keep control and play with patience. Most points in padel are lost due to unforced errors, so stay consistent and wait for the right moment.
β‘ Step 2 β Build the Point β Apply pressure on your opponents by aiming at their feet, using slices, and changing directions. Force them into difficult situations so they start making mistakes.
π₯ Step 3 β Finish the Point β When you receive an easy ball, itβs time to finish. Use a smash, drop shot, or a powerful volley to close the point effectively.
Master these three steps, and youβll become a much stronger attacking player!
