Choosing Padel court side: left vs right characteristics.
What Your Guru Thinks
Sandy explains the different characteristics and roles for players on the left and right sides of the court. He makes a great point that if you're new to the game, you should definitely try playing on both sides. Understanding the differences in movement and typical shots for each side helps you see what fits your game and your partnership best. This understanding is key as you develop your skills and look for the right partner dynamics.
Description
In this video we describe the traditional characteristics for each side, but in reality to become a better player you need to understand both sides and this means (at least to begin with) you should play on both sides. Also, these principles are not set in stone and there are plenty of exceptions, it really depends how well you can work with your partner.
