8.3Oxdog Hyper Pro+ 2.0 2026
Oxdog · 2026
Rock-solid blocks and volleys at pace
Needs a longer swing at medium pace
8.4It moves quickly, takes the ball early off the bounce and places bandejas and volleys with little effort. A strong choice for intermediate to advanced all-court players who win points with placement. Big hitters should look elsewhere: full-power flat smashes lose some punch, and the Hyper Pro+ gives more at that end.

All-court player who prizes control, feel and spin
Bowe is convinced that the racket, shoes, court are the problem, never his own abilities.
The Oxdog Hyper Pro 2.0 2026 is the middle model in the Swedish brand's teardrop Hyper line. It sits between the easier Hyper Tour X and the firmer Hyper Pro+, and Oxdog aims it at intermediate to advanced players who want power and control in one racket. Probando Palas calls it one of the most versatile rackets in the range. The feel comes from Oxdog's Medium+ EVA core behind a sandy HES-Carbon face, and a small 8g weight in the handle cap can be taken out to change the balance. The list price is €309.
On paper almost nothing changed. Oxdog lists the same weight, carbon, core and balance as the original Hyper Pro 2.0 from 2024, which is still on sale as the Classics for €299. The 2026 gets a sober satin brown finish that the whole Hyper range now shares. Fabio Ferro, who tested both, still felt a difference on court: the first version was a little too light for him, and the 2026 puts more mass behind the ball. Reviewers weighed their units at roughly 363 to 368g with the handle weight in, balanced at about 26cm, so it plays closer to neutral than Oxdog's "top balance" label suggests.
What the Reviewers Say
All three testers describe the same racket: controlled, quick in the hand and helpful enough on ball output, but not a smash cannon. Where they differ is how excited they get about it.
PADELREVIEW ENG was the most enthusiastic. The reviewer was coming back from tennis elbow, switched to this racket mid-match and found the arm pain stopped. He called it "an offensive racket, but never extreme or uncontrollable," and praised the large sweet spot, the easy depth on lobs and the spin on sliced volleys. The víbora was where he felt it shone most.
Probando Palas tested it against the Hyper Pro+ 2026 and would keep this one. He puts the feel at about 7.2 out of 10, just under medium-hard, and says the Medium+ core gives more free ball output at medium pace than the harder Plus. Handling is its biggest strength for him, and so is the bandeja: "I think the bandeja is one of the shots where this Hyper Pro stands out most, every year." He is more careful about all-out víboras and flat smashes, where very aggressive players may find the response less linear.
Fabio Ferro rates it the smartest racket in Oxdog's range and also the least flashy. He gave control a 9 out of 10 and liked it most from the back of the court, especially when taking the ball early off the bounce. His verdict: "It doesn't sell you dreams, it gives you solid reality." His complaints are small. Volleys struck near the tip lose some depth, and the head carries little weight, so you have to bring the rhythm yourself. After a month of play the sandy face had also dulled a little.
How it plays..
The Hyper Pro 2.0 2026 is a placement racket first. It moves quickly, the dry Medium+ feel gives clear feedback without turning harsh, and the sandy face grips well on sliced volleys and bandejas. That grit is the only spin aid, though, so spin-focused players should expect some of the bite to fade over a season, as Fabio Ferro already noticed after a month. For an all-court game built on control, it is one of the safest teardrops in this price range.
Defense
This is where the reviewers liked it most. At about 365g with a balance that is not too high, it stays quick on lateral movement and low balls, and Fabio Ferro found it especially good at taking the ball early off the bounce. PADELREVIEW ENG got depth on lobs without much effort. Ball output builds with your swing instead of springing off the face, so a rushed swing rarely sends the ball long. Defenders who want the racket to do all the work will need to add some arm.
Attack
Power arrives when you swing for it. Víboras and sliced smashes at medium pace get good depth and spin, and taking out the 8g handle weight shifts the balance a little towards the head. Full-power flat smashes are the limit. Probando Palas found it absorbs some of the ball when you hit at 100 per cent, and Fabio Ferro saw it as less of a finisher than Oxdog's Ultimate Pro. Players who win their points overhead will get more from the Hyper Pro+.
Netplay
Volleys are quick and accurate, and at medium pace they get depth without much effort. The sandy face bites on sliced volleys, and the 13cm handle gives extra leverage. Probando Palas found blocks predictable because the sweet spot is even. The feel sits just under medium-hard and keeps a little bounce, so a very fast incoming ball needs a careful block to stay off the back glass. Fabio Ferro also found that contact near the tip costs some depth.
Our Advice for New Players
Not the right first racket. It does not punish you, but at €309 you pay for precision and a dry feel that a beginner cannot use yet. The Hyper Tour X 2.0 2026 gives more free power for less money.
Our Advice for Intermediate Players
A good fit for intermediates who already make clean contact and want one racket for the whole court. The sweet spot is generous enough for long rallies, the handling is easy, and the arm-friendly feel suits players who are on court several times a week.
Competitive level
Advanced all-court players, especially on the right side, will like the control, the timing on early balls and the bandeja. Left-side players who finish points with flat smashes will want more weight in the head than this racket gives.
