Once the opponent is drawn in, the offensive lob is played with slice to ensure the ball stays low after the bounce, making it difficult to return. This tactic is recommended for advanced players who can read when an opponent has a low contact point or is preparing to play deep. It is a calculated risk that shifts the defender slightly forward to transition into the net position.
