When you serve, you should always go to the net! You can put pressure on your opponent if you volley the return. If your serve is not good enough you are not 'safe' at the net.. Your opponent will put pressure on you, instead of the other way around. Ever had a return on your feet or are they lobbing you when you run forward? The answer is in your serve.
