Attacking backhand after glass technique breakdown.

PadelJo
🏆 #1 Takeaway - How do I play an attacking backhand after the glass when lobbed?
When a lob goes deep and you are positioned where a forehand is difficult (either center on the right side or deep in the corner on the left side), you can play an attacking backhand shot (Bajada) after the ball bounces off the glass.

What Your Guru Thinks

This introduces a specific shot that happens when you get lobbed deep and need to play a backhand after the ball hits the glass. Coach Sandy explains the situations where you might use this attacking backhand shot instead of a forehand. Understanding these moments helps you prepare for different scenarios on court.

Attack with the BACKHAND BAJADA After the Lob??

Description

One of the most difficult shots to play, the backhand bajada can be a weapon if you know how to hit it!

A lob into the backhand side of the opponent is usually considered a good choice, but there are many players with a really effective attacking backhand after this glass.

This shot takes lots of practice to build confidence, but if you feel like you are getting into a good position...go for it :)
