Oxdog Sense Pro 20268.2

Conclusion

The Sense Pro is at its best when you play with pace: it stays stable on fast volleys and smashes well for a round frame. Good for technical intermediate and advanced players who want control with some bite. Players who build points slowly should know it gives little free depth on soft balls.

The Oxdog Sense Pro 2026 is the round racket in the Swedish brand's line, and it is a carry-over. Oxdog moved the Sense Pro into its black-and-gold Classics series when the rest of the Sense range was replaced by the Pure line, because players kept asking for it. The 2026 version keeps the same frame, materials and weight, so the reviews of the Classics edition describe the same racket.

What makes it different from most round rackets is the feel. It uses the same firm carbon as the Hyper Pro, with a medium-plus core, so it plays firmer and quieter than the soft, forgiving round frames most brands sell. A removable 8g weight in the handle lets you move the balance up or down. It sits around the €250 mark, which is premium money for a round shape.

What the Reviewers Say

What the reviewers say

The reviewers agree on two points: it is quick in the hand, and it is firmer than a round racket usually is.

Dani 13 tested the Sense Pro in his own dedicated review and found that it controls well at high speed, but asks for effort from the back. He noted that the ball "does not come off very fast, so you have to push it well from the back of the court." He liked it more than the softer Sense models on quick bandejas and víboras, and less on slow ones, where the ball can stay short.

Roberto Cardi of Padel Test by Roberto Cardi reviewed the Classics edition and was the most positive about attack. He measured the touch as medium-hard, called its smash "fantastic" and said a round racket that hits like this is hard to find. His one reservation was the firmness: a little less hardness would have made the bandeja easier to control.

In Dani 13's look at the Oxdog range, the brand's own team explained why they kept the Sense Pro: it "carries the same as the Hyper Pro" but with a lower balance and a larger sweet spot, and it sold out for long periods. Treat that as the maker's description, not an independent test.

The main disagreement is balance. Dani 13 describes it as low and easy to move. Cardi played with the handle weight fitted and found it more head-heavy and attacking. Both are right: the removable weight changes the character.

How it plays..

Our take: Bowe's summary

The Sense Pro is one of the few round rackets with a firm, crisp response and clean feedback. The sandy face grips the ball, so slices and topspin lobs are easy to shape. The trade-off shows on slow balls: it does not add depth for you, so players who want to place the ball softly from the back have to swing through it.

Defense

From the back it is stable and precise, and Cardi rated its play off the high back wall very highly. It does not give much free output, so defensive lobs need a full swing. Against hard balls it holds its line well.

Attack

This is where it surprises. For a round frame the smash has real pace, especially with the handle weight removed and the top weight left in, which moves the balance up. It rewards a clean, fast swing more than a slow push.

Netplay

At the net it is quick and easy to move. Firm blocks are stable and precise. Soft touch volleys need a clear stroke, because the racket does not add much depth on its own. Fast bandejas and víboras work better than slow ones.

Our Advice for New Players

Not the best first racket. The firm feel and the low output on slow balls make it harder work than a soft round racket, and the price is high for a beginner.

Our Advice for Intermediate Players

A good choice for technical intermediates who already swing through the ball and want a round racket with more feel and bite than the usual soft models.

Competitive level

Advanced players who like a round shape but play fast and aggressive will get the most from it. Offensive players can raise the balance; control players can keep the handle weight in.

How It Compares

How it compares

Cardi compares it to the Siux Stupa line and the Starvie Raptor: round rackets with an attacking side. The Sense Pro is firmer and quieter, with less free power on slow balls. Inside Oxdog, the Pure Pro Plus is the firmer, more attacking hybrid option, and the Pure Tour is the softer, easier control racket. Pick the Sense Pro if you want a real round shape with a firm touch.
