Tienda Padelpoint compared it directly with the Technical Veron and pointed to the construction: "The Vertuo uses a softer rubber than the Veron, and it is built in fiberglass where the Veron is carbon." As an intermediate-to-advanced player, the reviewer chose the Veron, because the carbon face helped his shots more.

Padel Smash TV reviewed the whole Vertuo collection and called it "a very forgiving racket" with a soft fiberglass feel. Cesc and Julian placed it lower than the other Babolat lines, as a racket for beginners and low intermediates, and said some rackets in the same price range might be a better buy.

The Technical Vertuo does what it promises for a developing attacker: easy ball output, low effort, and a rough face that grips the ball a little on slice. Players who want to place the ball precisely at speed will find the soft fiberglass face vague, because the feedback goes muted exactly when the rally gets fast. For crisp feel and spin control, the carbon Technical Veron is the better use of the extra money.

In defense the soft face helps. Blocks and lobs leave the racket without a big swing, and off-center contact is forgiven more than on the carbon models. The higher balance and diamond head still make low defensive balls less stable than on a round racket.

In attack the diamond shape and lively fiberglass give easy depth on smashes and drives. Pala-Hack rates its ball output as its best trait. The limit comes on full-speed smashes, where the soft face gives less punch and less precision than a carbon Technical.

At the net it is quick in the hand for a diamond, and the rough 3D Spin face helps a little on a bandeja or víbora with slice. Fast volley exchanges show the downside: the soft face makes it harder to direct the ball with precision.
