Tactical positioning: attacking the left-side player

Attacking the player on the left side of the court forces the opponents to defend from a position where they cannot easily poach with a backhand. When targeting this player, the goal is to keep the ball low to prevent the right-side player from helping or moving in to finish the point. By directing shots to the corners or the middle, the attacking pair can move closer to the net together, effectively shrinking the court and limiting the opponents' options.

Specific techniques include playing a soft vibora into the corner to force a difficult return, which allows the attacking pair to advance. When executing a high backhand volley, aim for the sidewall to keep the ball away from the center. If the contact point is low, prioritize the back wall first. The rulo is effective when directed toward the fence, provided the player stays ready to cover the middle. If opponents play at a high pace, maintain a slightly deeper position to ensure enough time to react to the next shot. Advancing toward the net is only recommended when the ball has a low bounce, leaving the opponents with no room to lob.
