Adjusting hand tension is vital for managing different ball speeds. Tighten the grip to block fast incoming shots, while keeping the hands relaxed allows for better touch and slice on slower balls. Avoid hitting to the fourth glass, as this gives defenders an easy setup. Low volleys require a soft touch or a drop shot, as attempting to hit these deep often leads to errors. High contact points allow for a high-to-low motion, but players must prioritize practicing low-volley scenarios to handle pressure from stronger opponents.
