This is a really insightful lesson if you are looking to evolve your defensive game. Sven helps you understand when to use a lob versus a chiquita to gain an advantage. It's all about reading the ball and making smart decisions to either recover court position or become more offensive from defense. You'll learn how to better control the point and put more pressure on your opponents, moving beyond just returning the ball.
Description
I highly recommend to start doing this tactic once you use the walls correctly. When you do that, it is possible to do more from the back of the court.
Because with this method you are able to outplay the netplayers more and to put them in the position where they don't want to be.
If you are not great with the walls, I highly recommend to slow the balls down and to play a lot of lobs when you can, so it's a little bit easier to defend the ball.
Once you know how to use the wall, I highly recommend to variate the speed and the height of the ball and maybe play more chiquitas in order to get that netposition.
If you want to play more chiquitas you need to be very confident about your volleys.
