Open double glass, or side-back, is the most difficult scenario. The player should prioritize a backhand return, opening the body and moving to hit the ball in front. Rotating to use a forehand is only recommended when the ball is tricky or when there is insufficient time to set up the backhand. Active footwork with small, quick steps is necessary to adjust position after an initial misread. Always prepare the racket early, hit the ball flat, and aim down the line when the situation is difficult.
