Using topspin forces the net player to hit from a lower contact point, making it harder for them to attack.
When the ball bounces against the glass, hit it at the highest point rather than waiting for it to drop. Avoid slicing low balls, as this causes the ball to rise and gives the net player an easy volley. Only play lobs when comfortable and balanced, ideally aiming for the opponent's backhand side. Keep the swing compact to hide intentions, and do not telegraph the shot during preparation. Finally, establish clear communication with a partner regarding who covers the center to prevent open spaces and unnecessary stress.
