The Optix V2 Lite does what it's designed to do: get new players into comfortable rallies quickly. The round shape keeps everything centered, the fiberglass stays soft, and nothing fights you. For an attacking finisher looking to close points, it won't deliver — the EVA foam and fiberglass face absorb energy rather than return it, and the even balance gives no head-weight advantage on smashes. Right-side players working to build a committed swing will outgrow it within months. The Optix V2 Power, with 10g extra weight and more punch, is the better choice for anyone already feeling confident in their technique.

The round shape and soft foam make the Optix V2 Lite forgiving on defensive shots. Mishits stay in play, and the medium balance keeps the frame stable through quick blocks and resets without demanding much from the player.
