Nox ML10 Pro Cup 3K Luxury Series 20247.9

Conclusion

A comfortable round racket that sends the ball deep from defense with very little effort. Best for intermediates who build points and players with sore elbows; hard hitters who finish with flat smashes will find it short on punch. At high pace the rebound grows, so fast volleys need a calm hand.

The ML10 Pro Cup is Miguel Lamperti's long-running signature racket and one of the best sellers Nox has ever made. The 2024 Luxury Series keeps the formula: a round head, a 3K carbon face over the soft HR3 rubber, and a sandy rough finish. It weighs 360 to 375 g and sits low in the balance, so it plays light in the hand.

What changed from 2023 is small but you can feel it. Nox added side windows at the heart (EOS Flap) and an extra row of holes on each side of the face, which drops the balance by a couple of millimetres, and a rubber insert in the handle (Pull System) to take out vibration. Reviewers found the 2024 quicker to move and a little firmer than last year's version. It usually sells well under its list price, around 150 euros at the time of the main reviews.

What the Reviewers Say

What the reviewers say

The reviewers agree on comfort. Probando Palas called it a safe bet from the back of the court, with a very wide sweet spot, and said many beginner and intermediate students at his school play with it because it is easy on the arm. Dani 13 put defense first of all four zones: good handling, a big sweet spot and easy ball exit at a medium or slow pace.

The same reviewers flag the limit. Dani 13 found that when you speed up, the racket "gives a lot of rebound, so the ball flies higher than you want", which hurts control on fast víboras and firm volleys. Probando Palas said the flat smash is where it drops off, and that the kick smash works better when you relax the arm. Both saw the 2024 as slightly better controlled at pace than the 2023.

The written review at Practica Padel lands in the same place, calling it suitable "for those who want to pass the ball with ease without exerting much force". Padel Smash TV was split: one tester loved it everywhere, the other scored defense a 7 because he had to put in more effort there, and felt that if you hit the sweet spot "that ball will come out so fast".

How it plays..

Our take: Lars's summary

This is a racket that keeps you in the rally. The wide sweet spot and easy ball exit at a medium pace make it simple to play deep lobs, block and wait for the right ball. Right-side point builders should know it gives little help when they want to end the point with a flat smash, and fast exchanges need a calm hand to keep the ball down.

Defense

Defense is its best zone. The low balance lets you get the racket to difficult balls late, the sweet spot is hard to miss, and the ball goes back deep with little effort. At high pace the rebound grows and the ball can rise more than you want, so keep the swing short on hard incoming balls.

Attack

Power on the flat smash is moderate. The soft HR3 core absorbs part of a hard flat hit, and several reviewers felt shots from the upper part of the face come off drier. The kick smash (por tres) works better than the balance suggests, and víboras need a downward swing so the ball does not float.

Netplay

At the net the racket moves quickly and does not tire the arm. Blocks and soft volleys get depth without much effort, and the rough surface helps sliced volleys and drop shots stay low. Firm flat volleys are less precise, because the ball sinks into the face and leaves with more rebound than expected.

Our Advice for New Players

Beginners who already play regularly can use it. It is forgiving and comfortable, though at 360 to 375 g some lighter players may want the Lady or Light version.

Our Advice for Intermediate Players

Intermediates are the main target. It suits players who build points from the back, want a large sweet spot and have elbow or arm complaints with harder rackets.

Competitive level

Advanced players who defend a lot and like a soft touch can play it well, as Lamperti shows. Players who win their points with flat smashes and hard attacking volleys should look at a harder, more head-heavy model.

How It Compares

How it compares

Against the ML10 Pro Cup 2023, the 2024 is a little quicker and slightly firmer, with better control at high pace. The 2023 gives more ball exit and a livelier kick smash, so players who liked that trampoline feel may prefer it. The later ML10 Quantum 3K 2025 moves to a hybrid shape for more help in attack; pick the Pro Cup 2024 if comfort and defense come first.
