Drop Shot Explorer Pro Attack 2.0 2026

What to expect

On paper this is a racket for advanced and strong intermediate players who attack from a firm, stable frame. The hard core and medium-high balance point to fast ball exit on smashes, but also to a less forgiving feel on off-centre hits. Developing players who want comfort should wait for full reviews or look at a softer, rounder Drop Shot.

The Explorer Pro Attack 2.0 is the 2026 signature racket of Lucas Campagnolo, Drop Shot's lead player. It follows the Explorer Pro Attack 1.0 from 2025, the model that moved Campagnolo from round rackets to a teardrop with a more attacking character.

The build points one way: a hard, high-density core, a 24K carbon face and a medium-high balance in a teardrop head. Drop Shot aims it at intermediate and advanced players who want power without losing control. Retailers list the weight as 360 to 375g, a wide range, so the exact weight of a single racket is uncertain until you weigh it. The list price is €340, with discounts to around €188 already seen at retailers.

What the Brand Says

Drop Shot says the EVA Pro High Density core gives a consistent response with good memory, and that the 24K Carbon Twill Textreme face gives durability and a firm but comfortable feel. The brand claims its 3D Face System texture adds spin and control, that the Power Beam Heart and Twin Tubular System make the frame more stable, and that Vibra Tech reduces the vibration that reaches the grip.

The visible change from the 1.0 is the finish. The 2.0 has a gloss face where the 1.0 was matte. In an on-court visit with SetUP Padel, Campagnolo said the gloss makes the face feel slightly firmer and the ball leave a little faster, which helps when he wants to speed up an attack. He also said he asks Drop Shot for a wide sweet spot in the middle of the face because he values control over a high power zone. This is the sponsored player talking about his own racket, not an independent test.

How It Compares

On paper, the Explorer Pro Attack 1.0 (2025) is the closest match: the same teardrop, attack-leaning concept, with a matte face and, by Campagnolo's account, slightly less ball exit. If you already own the 1.0, the 2.0 looks like a small refinement, not a new racket. Players who want the same line with more comfort should look at the Drop Shot Explorer Pro Control, a round, softer model built for control and defence. These comparisons come from specs and brand statements, not from a test.
