Prepare as if you are playing a bandeja, but drive the racket head forward instead of applying spin. Make sure your racket finishes far away from your body to keep your swing loose and powerful.
The fast overhead serves as a surprise tactic when opponents linger too far back from the net. Preparation mirrors that of a bandeja or vibora, but the execution shifts toward a flatter drive. Instead of applying heavy spin, the racket head drives forward directly to the net. Aiming for the middle of the court keeps the ball away from both players and minimizes their reaction time.
Power comes from a loose arm and a sharp snap of the wrist at contact. A common mistake involves pulling the racket in toward the body during the swing. To avoid this, the racket must finish its path far away from the body. This shot works best for players who already have a consistent bandeja and want to add a high-pace variation to their overhead game.
