The process of finishing a point splits into two distinct phases: building the point to create an opportunity and executing the final shot when the ball is favorable.

To build the point, maintain pressure by targeting the same opponent consistently, which forces them into errors or creates an easy ball. Alternatively, move opponents around to disrupt their preparation and timing. Once an easy ball arrives, prioritize natural hitting directions where you have more court distance to accelerate. Align your aggressive choices with your strengths; use weaker shots only to set up the point, and reserve high-risk attempts for your most confident strokes. Aim for the fence to exploit unpredictable rebounds when the situation allows. Accepting that calculated risks sometimes result in errors is part of the process, provided the decision-making remains sound.
